Lazza began its operations in 2000 producing spare parts for the highway market. After some time, it expanded its activities to the automotive sector and, in 2003, began developing solutions for refrigerated transportation. It offers a diverse line of refrigeration equipment, among other products. The company is located in the Serra Gaúcha region, in the city of São Marcos, 30 km from Caxias do Sul, one of Brazil's main metalworking hubs.
